9:30 a.m. - Under 17 Boys Final
This morning at Toyota Stadium, Championship Saturday kicked off with an all-FC Dallas matchup, as FC Dallas Academy faced FC Dallas Red ECNL for the Under 17 boys' title.
The Academy side opened the scoring in the 18th minute, as Erick Vargas finished off a well-worked team move to make it 1-0. In the second half, Zianni Johnson pulled a goal back for the ECNL side with a dazzling solo effort, knifing his way through the back line and roofing a finish to the near post in the 55th minute to make it 3-1.
Although the result was never truly in doubt, Alex Soria added a goal of his own for the Academy side in stoppage time to make it 4-1.
The final whistle blew shortly after, as FC Dallas Academy hoisted the Under 17 Boys Boot & Ball trophy.

12:00 p.m. - Under 16 Boys Final
The second final of the day featured Capital City SC squaring off against Mexico's Cefor Cumbres for the Under 16 boys title. It did not take long for the Austin-based side to find the back of the net.
In just the 5th minute, Nico Siqueiros was left unmarked beyond the box, and he calmly took on the keeper 1v1 before finishing to give Capital City a 1-0 lead. In the 22nd minute, Siqueiros struck again, finishing off a well-placed assist from Kelby Spitzer to make it 2-0.
In the 28th minute, Capital City padded the lead once more. After a corner kick was partially deflected out of danger, the ball was sent back into the middle of the box, where Diego Valverde was waiting to finish and make it 3-0.
In the second half, Cefor Cumbres was able to pull one back in the 66th minute, as Victor Ortiz finished a nice close-range volley.
But it proved to be too little, too late. The final whistle blew shortly after, as Capital City SC claimed a 3-1 victory and the Under 16 Boys Dallas Cup title.
