The girls’ divisions at the Dallas Cup presented by Coca-Cola continue to surge in size and international reach. Following a landmark year in 2025 that saw more than 150 girls’ teams from across the United States and abroad compete — up from just 36 teams in 2024 — the tournament is poised for another strong showing at the 2026 Dallas Cup, set for March 29 – April 5, 2026 in the Greater Dallas area.
One of the latest international programs to join the growing list of girls’ participants is Green Room Futures from Australia, which will field teams in both the Girls U16 and U19 divisions. Founded by Matt Wade, a Texas native and Dallas Cup alumnus, GR Futures specializes in helping international student-athletes secure opportunities at U.S. colleges.
The pathway to U.S. college programs has become a major draw for international girls’ teams. In 2024, the Australian School Girls made their Dallas Cup debut, capturing the U19 Girls title. Over the past two years, a handful of players from their rosters have earned offers from American universities. The program has maintained close ties with the tournament and is exploring another appearance at Dallas Cup 2026 as part of its ongoing commitment to international competition.
Already, the 2026 Dallas Cup has received girls’ applications from Mexico, Canada, Australia, Portugal, England, Germany, and across the United States, reflecting the event’s diversifying reach. Dallas Cup anticipates a record number of girls’ teams once again as the tournament continues to solidify its position as one of the premier stages in the world for aspiring female soccer stars.
The team application window for the 2026 Dallas Cup presented by Coca-Cola remains open through November 30, 2025. Teams can apply and learn more at www.DallasCup.com.
