Dallas Cup Host FC Dallas Set to Compete Across Boys and Girls Divisions

FC Dallas to Represent in All 21 Age Brackets, Including the Elite U19 Gordon Jago Super Group; Tournament Schedule presented by Panini drops on March 28

DALLAS, Texas (Thursday, Mar. 27) – Dallas Cup, the oldest and most prestigious international youth soccer tournament in North America, is proud to announce that host club FC Dallas will compete in all 21 age brackets across both boys and girls divisions at the 2025 Dallas Cup presented by Coca-Cola, including participation in the elite U19 Gordon Jago Super Group.

As the tournament’s host club, FC Dallas plays a vital role in the success of Dallas Cup, both on and off the field. In addition to fielding more than 50 teams across the expanded boys’ and girls’ brackets, FC Dallas families will continue their long-standing tradition of volunteerism, contributing hundreds of service hours throughout tournament week. The club also supports the Dallas Cup Homestay Program, providing accommodations for international players, further fostering the tournament’s diversity and community-driven initiatives.

FC Dallas made a strong run in last year’s Gordon Jago Super Group, reaching the final before falling to eventual champions São Paulo FC. They entered the match looking to capture their second Super Group title, remaining the only MLS academy team to ever lift the prestigious trophy. Their first triumph came in 2017, a milestone victory that underscored the strength of their youth development system. The FC Dallas academy has produced several standout professionals, including the likes of Weston McKennie, Jesús Ferreira, Chris Richards, Tanner Tessman, Alex Zendejas, and current first-team player Shaq Moore, just to name a few.

With the addition of FC Dallas, the 2025 Gordon Jago Super Group also features La Liga’s Real Madrid CF, defending Super Group champions São Paulo FC, Premier League side Newcastle United, Campeonato Brasileiro Série A champions Botafogo, Danish Superliga champions FC Midtjylland, Germany’s Eintracht Frankfurt, and cross-town rivals Tigres UANL and CF Monterrey. A total of 12 teams will compete for the iconic Boot & Ball trophy next month.

Beyond their Super Group success, FC Dallas teams captured four Boot & Ball trophies at the 2024 edition of the tournament. On the boys’ side, FC Dallas ECNL White B06/05 and FC Dallas ECNL Red B08 claimed the U18 and U16 titles, respectively. The club’s girls’ teams also showcased their talent, with FC Dallas ECNL G07 winning the U17 bracket and FC Dallas ECNL G09 securing the U15 championship. The FC Dallas ECNL G07 squad will kick off their 2025 Dallas Cup campaign as part of the Opening Day triple-header at Cotton Bowl Stadium, aiming for an unprecedented four-peat of titles in their age group.

The 2025 Dallas Cup presented by Coca-Cola will take place from April 13 through April 20. Tickets are now on sale for the marquee Opening Day event at Cotton Bowl Stadium, which will feature a triple-header of matches and the Whataparade of Teams and Opening Ceremonies, set to include more than 10,000 Dallas Cup participants.

Fans and teams can purchase tickets and learn more about the tournament by visiting www.DallasCup.org or following @dallascup on social media.
