Crystal Palace to Make Dallas Cup Debut in 2026 Gordon Jago Super Group

DALLAS, Texas (Thursday, Jan. 22) – Dallas Cup, the oldest and most prestigious international youth soccer tournament in the United States, announced today that Crystal Palace has accepted an invitation to participate in the tournament’s elite Gordon Jago Super Group in 2026. The 2026 Dallas Cup presented by Coca-Cola will be played March 29 through April 5.

Crystal Palace will make its first-ever appearance at the Dallas Cup as the club’s academy continues an impressive run of form in England. Later today, Palace’s U18 side will compete in the FA Youth Cup Fourth Round against Newcastle United, highlighting a strong season across multiple competitions.

In league play, Crystal Palace U18s currently sit second in the U18 South Division and boast the league’s most prolific attack. The side has scored a division-leading 43 goals across 13 league matches, led by attacking duo Ben Casey and Stuart Oduro, both of whom are expected to be in consideration for the trip to the Dallas Cup in 2026.

Crystal Palace’s appearance continues the tournament’s long-standing relationship with the Premier League and English football. Manchester United, Arsenal, Manchester City, and Chelsea, among others, have all competed in the Dallas Cup, while West Ham United (1992), Nottingham Forest (2002), Liverpool (2008), Fulham (2013), and Everton (2016) have lifted the Gordon Jago Super Group trophy. Crystal Palace now aims to become the sixth English champion in tournament history.

That connection takes on added significance as the City of Dallas prepares to host the opening match of England’s group at FIFA World Cup 26™, further reinforcing Dallas Cup’s role as a global hub for the game in North Texas.

Crystal Palace joins a growing 2026 Gordon Jago Super Group field, which includes defending champions Botafogo, fellow Premier League side Aston Villa, MLS academy representative Philadelphia Union, and four-time Super Group champions São Paulo FC. A total of 12 elite teams from top professional clubs and national federations worldwide will compete for the iconic championship trophy.

The 2026 Dallas Cup presented by Coca-Cola builds upon a record-breaking 2025 tournament, which for the first time featured expanded Boys’ and Girls’ divisions (U10–U19).
